Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chunk Li (ranked 2988 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manoy Timmoy (ranked 5540 p4p, 0 weight class). Chunk Li has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Li is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Timmoy's half guard.

Li is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Timmoy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Li.

Li seems to be working for a kimura but Timmoy defends the submission attempt.

Li is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Timmoy defends it well.
Timmoy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Li is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Timmoy has managed to free his arm - good work.

Li is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Timmoy is just riding it out for now. Li eventually gives up the hold.
Li content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Li takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Li has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Timmoy defend it? Li steps over the head and cranks it - Timmoy is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Li!
