The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borcea scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pedersen doesn't seem bothered though.
Borcea lands with a nice combination. Pedersen backs away looking to recover.

Borcea rushes Pedersen and presses him up against the cage.
Pedersen tries to score a body lock takedown but Borcea shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Sloppy strikes from Borcea. Those never looked like landing.
Borcea throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Borcea is pawing at Pedersen, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Pedersen's nose. Pedersen is badly hurt! Borcea pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Pedersen tries desperately to hold on but Borcea is relentless in his assault! As Pedersen receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Borcea away and this one is in the books!
