Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Moraes (ranked 3381 p4p, 0 weight class) and Idris Onolunose (ranked 3073 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Idris Onolunose was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leonardo Moraes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Idris Onolunose!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Onolunose moves into the clinch successfully.

Onolunose lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Moraes has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Onolunose is working away from the top position though.
Moraes tries to roll over but Onolunose keeps him under control.
Moraes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Onolunose on the ground.
Onolunose perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Onolunose works his way into full mount!
Moraes is in all sorts of trouble here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Onolunose content just to control the position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Onolunose lands a nice shot to the head.
Moraes wants to control but Onolunose is having none of it.

Onolunose gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Nice takedown defense from Onolunose. No joy for Moraes on that attempt.
Onolunose throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Onolunose is looking to land body kicks.
Moraes fails with the takedown.

A good leg kick by Moraes.

Onolunose darts in and clinches Moraes up against the cage.

Onolunose decides to pull guard.
Onolunose managing to control the position.
Moraes postures up.
Onolunose looking for a sweep. Not yet Onolunose, not yet.
Moraes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Onolunose trying to keep a closed guard but Moraes is proving a slippery customer.

Onolunose has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Onolunose is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Onolunose lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Onolunose trying to stand up but can't free himself from Moraes's guard.

Onolunose stays in close to Moraes's body and controls the position.
Moraes is trying to keep Onolunose in close.

Onolunose drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Onolunose as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Moraes screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Onolunose! Nice submission victory there!
