Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Comer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louden Swain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Comer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Louden Swain!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swain keeps the fight on the outside.
Comer shoots in but Swain avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Swain bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Comer is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Comer tries to buck Swain off but Swain is having none of it.

Swain working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Swain tries to advance to mount but Comer denies him.
Comer is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Swain's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Comer tries to roll over but Swain keeps him under control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Swain is looking for a kimura but Comer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Swain to get the leverage.
Comer preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Swain landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Swain trying to mount his opponent but Comer defends it.
Comer regains full guard. Nicely done.

Swain is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Comer had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Swain is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Comer Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Swain's back instead.
Swain manages to reverse the position and now he's in Comer's guard. Nice work there by Swain.
Comer controls Swain momentarily but Swain frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Comer keeping moving, preventing Swain from controlling successfully.

Comer working for a triangle but Swain defends it easily.
Comer is breathing heavily.

Swain is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Comer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Swain doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Swain manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Comer fails with the takedown

and Swain counters with a nice double leg into side control. Comer won't be happy with that.

Swain is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Comer has escaped the position, nice work there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Comer struggling a bit here.

Swain looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Swain is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Comer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Comer tries to bench press Swain off him but Swain keeps the position.

Swain tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Swain has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Swain is working to tighten is grip on Comer's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Comer has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Swain is really squeezing tight and eventually Comer passes out! Swain breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Louden Swain!
