The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Jones gets caught napping as Kelly dives in and scores a takedown. Jones manages to retain guard.

Jones is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jones is trying to control the position but Kelly postures up.
Kelly wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Kelly slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Jones is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at JAG Battle Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Kelly wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.
Jones tries to buck Kelly off but Kelly is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kelly has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jones is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kelly yanks on the arm and Jones is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kelly.
