Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between John Jones (ranked 2285 p4p, 41 weight class) and Youknow Dakine (ranked 3968 p4p, 91 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Youknow Dakine!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a head kick that bluckles Dakine and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Jones no doubt looking to push for a finish!
It looks like Youknow Dakine has been cut.
Dakine rushes Jones and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Dakine manages to break the clinch.
That kick from Dakine tenderised Jones's leg. Jones is trying to keep his angry face on.
Dakine throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Youknow Dakine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dakine tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.
Dakine throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones connects with a leg kick. Dakine looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dakine takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Dakine on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Dakine gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Jones finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Dakine missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crunch! Jones slams his shin into Dakine's torso.
Jones darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Jones looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dakine throws a leg kick
and Jones counters with a good low kick that Dakine was not able to check.
Dakine looks winded!
Jones lets loose with a powerful body kick. Dakine will feel that in the morning.
Dakine has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Jones.
Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jones throws out a head kick that Dakine doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Dakine crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Dakine's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jones throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dakine stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dakine seems to have recovered his senses.
A nice leg kick lands there from Jones.
Jones connects with a body shot.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Jones! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). John Jones!
A very excited looking John Jones rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
