Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takumi Sagaki (ranked 1436 p4p, 155 weight class) and Kai Perkins (ranked 1548 p4p, 166 weight class). Sagaki comes to the cage accompanied by Crazy Nights - Loudness. Takumi Sagaki is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Takumi Sagaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kai Perkins !
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ben Hemmingworth and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagaki throws a leg kick which misses Perkins 's front leg but catches the back leg as Perkins tries to avoid it.
Perkins misses with the combination.
Sagaki half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Sagaki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Perkins was covering up waiting for the punch and Sagaki finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Perkins wants to stand up but Sagaki is controlling him.
Perkins pushes Sagaki off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sagaki misses with a takedown attempt
and Perkins counters with a stiff right hand.
Sagaki lands a head kick!

Sagaki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

A telegraphed right hand from Perkins misses the target.
Perkins feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sagaki's calf.
Perkins scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Sagaki with a poor takedown
and Perkins counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takumi Sagaki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sagaki fails with a takedown attempt.
Perkins throws a leg kick but Sagaki moved away.
Sagaki gets a double leg takedown into Perkins 's guard.
Sagaki drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Perkins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sagaki has Perkins in his guard.
Perkins stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Perkins is looking to clinch.
Sagaki throws a lazy head kick
enabling Perkins to counter with a crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Perkins works Sagaki's body with a nice hook.
Sagaki shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Perkins manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Sagaki advances to half guard.
Sagaki throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Sagaki is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Sagaki looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sagaki is working for a kimura here but Perkins manages to reverse the position and he's now in Sagaki's guard.
Sagaki is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sagaki working for a triangle but Perkins defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Perkins got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sagaki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Perkins has managed to get both his arms back between Sagaki's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perkins is posturing up here but Sagaki has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Perkins tries to roll out but it's too tight and Perkins has to tap! Slick submission there by Sagaki!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Takumi Sagaki!
An out of breath Takumi Sagaki thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
