Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bunnur Marbleforge (ranked 2677 p4p, 61 weight class) and Marcin Vanna (ranked 2698 p4p, 62 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bunnur Marbleforge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcin Vanna!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vanna gets a double leg takedown into Marbleforge's guard.

Vanna looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Marbleforge has his foot on Vanna's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vanna works his way back into a safe position though.
Marbleforge is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Marbleforge is looking for a triangle but Vanna pushes his legs off easily.

Marbleforge is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vanna defends well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vanna is stalling in the full guard.

It looks like Vanna might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Marbleforge throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Marbleforge looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Marbleforge is trying to control the position but Vanna postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Marbleforge escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vanna gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Vanna seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Vanna pushes down on Marbleforge's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Vanna is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Marbleforge is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vanna pulls his head out easily.
Vanna is controlling the pace.

Marbleforge looking for submissions off his back.

Marbleforge trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Marbleforge is desperately trying to improve his position but Vanna has a good base and remains in mount.
Marbleforge throwing hammer fists to the chest of Vanna. What's that going to do exactly?
Vanna controlling from the full mount.
Vanna blocks Marbleforge's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Vanna avoids the attempt from Marbleforge to control.
Marbleforge is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Vanna prevents Marbleforge from getting the reversal.
Vanna controlling the position easily from mount.
Marbleforge is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Vanna looking to control and managing it successfully.
Marbleforge tries to hold on but Vanna postures up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Vanna tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Marbleforge looks for a takedown but Vanna sprawls well.
Marbleforge shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vanna pinned against the cage. Vanna gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Vanna counters with a nice double leg into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vanna is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Marbleforge is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marbleforge has an active guard here but Vanna has managed to pass into half guard.

Marbleforge has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Vanna escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Vanna!

Vanna keeps control of the position as Marbleforge tries to break free.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marbleforge wants to escape the position.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Vanna is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Marbleforge has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Vanna is looking for the choke from the back position but Marbleforge is controlling his hands well.

Vanna is hanging on to Marbleforge's back as he tries to escape.

Marbleforge defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Vanna's arms.
Marbleforge is trying to break free.

Marbleforge has hold of Vanna's leg, trying to break free but it's let Vanna lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Marbleforge is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Vanna throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Marcin Vanna!
Marcin Vanna decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
