The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lawson darts in and clinches Josting up against the cage.
Lawson lands a knee to the body.
Lawson trying to stall but Josting improves his position.
Lawson working Josting over with knees to the body.
Lawson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Josting has him pressed against the cage.
Lawson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Josting's efforts to push away.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Lawson lands a nice uppercut.
Lawson is looking to break free of the clinch but Josting has double underhooks.
Lawson throws an elbow but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lawson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Josting prevents Lawson from breaking the clinch.
Josting fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Josting gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Lawson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Josting manages to mount him!

Lawson is trying desperately to improve position.
Lawson wants to get back to his feet.
Josting lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Josting is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Josting drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lawson looking for a sweep. Not yet Lawson, not yet.
Josting seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Lawson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Josting. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Josting pushing down on Lawson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Josting lands with a punch from half guard.
Lawson tries to get to full guard but Josting has control of the leg.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Josting in particular looking to stall.
Lawson is trying to escape back to his feet but Josting uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Josting prevents Lawson from escaping the position.
Josting takes a little break here. Lawson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Lawson tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lawson tries to buck Josting off but he can't manage it.
Lawson looks winded!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Josting working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Lawson turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Josting off and cradles Lawson's limp body as Josting celebrates with his corner.
