Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dean Dupree (ranked 2740 p4p, 299 weight class) and Tan Zan (ranked 946 p4p, 113 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Tan Zan enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Zan catches Dupree with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Dupree takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Zan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dupree looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Dupree looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dupree's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dupree scrambles back to his feet.

Dupree takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Zan darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Tan Zan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dupree is trying to pull guard but Zan turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Zan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Dupree needs to keep his hands up - Zan had a free shot at his head there.

Dupree looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Zan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Zan has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Dupree drops his hands momentarily and Zan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Zan fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Dupree square on the jaw! Damn, Dupree is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
