Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Downwith Drago (ranked 326 p4p, 48 weight class) and Oroku Saku (ranked 170 p4p, 22 weight class). Oroku Saku will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Downwith Drago!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Oroku Saku!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saku tries to clinch but Drago moves out of range.
Drago chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Saku can pounce on him.
Saku misses with a kick to the body
and Drago counters with a nice double leg into side control. Saku won't be happy with that.
Saku tries to bench press Drago off him but Drago keeps the position.
Drago throws a strike aimed at the side of Saku's head but Saku avoids it well.
You can see the frustration on Saku's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Drago wants to control but Saku is keeping him busy.
Saku takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saku is trying to control Drago's posture but Drago avoids it.
Saku is looking to reverse the position.
Drago scoring with punches and elbows.
Drago lands a few punches from side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Drago looks up at the clock and then as Saku takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Drago smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Saku really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drago. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Drago lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Saku can't do much from the bottom here.
Drago lands a decent elbow from side control.
Saku is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Drago looks up at the clock and then as Saku takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Drago smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Saku is trying to get back to half guard.
Saku wants to control but Drago postures up.
Saku gets back to half guard.
Saku is trying to maintain the position but Drago is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Saku wants to control the action here but instead Drago manages to pass to full mount!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Saku can do anything to dispel that myth.
Drago lands a couple of good shots and Saku has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Drago gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Saku wants to escape the position.
Drago definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Drago lands shots from the back.
Can Saku hold on?! Drago is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Saku covers up after that shot from Drago.
Saku is rocked!
Drago cracks Saku with a big shot to the side of the head Saku is covering up - he's in big trouble! Drago connects with another shot that knocks Saku out cold! Drago stands above his unconscious opponent and soaks up the roars from the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Downwith Drago!
Downwith Drago is the new heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Downwith Drago thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
