The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lord closes the distance and clinches up with Miller, looking for a takedown. Lord pushes Miller against the cage but Miller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Lord jumps into guard, dragging Miller to the mat.
Lord is wriggling around but Miller manages to pass to half guard.
Miller looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Lord tries to roll over but Miller keeps him under control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Miller connects with a nice short shot to Lord's temple.

Lord dives in and grabs Miller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes down on Lord's head and hops out.
As Lord backs away, Miller returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Lord shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Miller sprawls well. Miller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lord gets slowly back to his feet.

Miller throws a quick counter head kick but Lord was just out of range.

Envy Lord showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lord content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Miller has locked up a guillotine! Miller's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Lord is holding on here and Miller must be using up a lot of energy. Lord has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Miller gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
