Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Jacko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Jacko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kelly lands a nice hook to Jacko's body. Jacko takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
James Jacko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kelly connects with a body shot.
Jacko misses with a looping left.
Kelly ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kelly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jacko was well out of range. Poor timing from Kelly.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jacko walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jacko avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kelly looks to land a combination but Jacko avoids it well.
Kelly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Kelly throws a lazy right hand but Jacko sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

James Jacko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kelly throws a nice looking combination but Jacko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kelly misses with a series of wild punches.

Kelly fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jacko on the side of the head.

Kelly tries to free his leg and advance position but Jacko is retaining full guard.
Kelly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jacko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kelly is keen to just control but Jacko is a slippery customer.

Kelly looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kelly in particular looking to stall.

Kelly closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jacko to the mat! Jacko manages to get full guard.
Kelly wants to control from the top but Jacko keeps moving.
Kelly thows a big elbow that misses.
Kelly is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Jacko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kelly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jacko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jacko has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kelly is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jacko.

Ken Kelly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Kelly changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jacko fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kelly drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jacko looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jacko looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jacko!

Kelly has his foot on Jacko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jacko works his way back into a safe position though.
