Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Grant manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jones wants to slow Grant down by chopping away at his legs.
Grant is looking to counter the offense by Jones and move into the clinch.

Jones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones is pushing down on Grant's leg trying to pass to half guard. Grant is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.

Grant with the active half guard here but Jones passes nicely into side control.

Jones is working to tighten his grip on Grant's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Grant has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jones is really squeezing tight and eventually Grant passes out! Jones breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
