Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Landon Rogers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Olsam Erkedin!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Erkedin drives through and clinches with Rogers against the cage.
Erkedin is stalling here.

Erkedin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rogers shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Erkedin's guard.
Erkedin wants to sweep here but Rogers controlling him for the moment.

Erkedin has an active guard here but Rogers has managed to pass into half guard.
Erkedin trying to get back to full guard but Rogers takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rogers has hold of Erkedin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Erkedin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Erkedin tries to hold on but Rogers postures up.

The referee warns Erkedin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Rogers is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Erkedin has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Erkedin can't escape the position.
Erkedin tries to hold on but Rogers pushes him away.
Erkedin tries to reverse the position but Rogers maintains control.
Rogers lands with some strikes.

Rogers lands a big elbow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Erkedin is wriggling around trying to escape.
Rogers is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Erkedin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Rogers lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Erkedin hang on?
Rogers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Erkedin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rogers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rogers working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Rogers has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Erkedin's face.
Erkedin is bucking up trying to escape but Rogers cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Rogers has control of Erkedin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Erkedin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Rogers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rogers is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Erkedin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Rogers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rogers avoids the attempt from Erkedin to control.

Rogers wants to finish this one by submission but Erkedin is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rogers.
Erkedin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Landon Rogers dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Rogers shoots in for a takedown but Erkedin shows good takedown defense.

Landon Rogers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.


Erkedin has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Rogers escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Rogers!
Rogers looks up at the clock and then as Erkedin takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rogers smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Erkedin is still in real trouble! Can Rogers finish him?

Rogers is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Erkedin looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rogers gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Erkedin is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rogers lets go of the hold and Erkedin can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Landon Rogers!
