Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jaleel Guy (ranked 23751 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Valiant (ranked 7530 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Valiant.
Guy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Guy lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Leo Valiant has been cut.
Guy throws a right hand that misses
and Valiant counters with a body kick that stops Guy in his tracks momentarily.
Valiant shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sloppy strikes from Guy. Those never looked like landing.
Valiant takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Guy throws the left hand but Valiant avoids the punch easily.

Valiant drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Guy explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Valiant bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Valiant wants to counter with a clinch but Guy pushes him away.
Valiant steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Guy.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Guy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Valiant has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Valiant and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Valiant raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Valiant bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Guy is trying to get back to half guard.

Valiant throws a strike aimed at the side of Guy's head but Guy avoids it well.
Guy tries to improve position but can't.
Valiant has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Valiant is trying to control. Guy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Valiant tries to pass the half guard into mount. Guy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Valiant thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Guy's head.
Valiant is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guy is staying active underneath Valiant, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Guy throws a hook but Valiant blocks it.
Valiant tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Guy looks to score with a jab to the body but Valiant is just out of range.

Valiant takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Valiant is still on wobbly legs! Can Guy finish him?
Guy slaps away a takedown attempt from Valiant, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Guy swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Guy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Valiant was well out of range. Poor timing from Guy.
Valiant seems to have recovered his senses.
Guy goes for a small jab and connects. Now Guy goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Valiant stumbles back but Guy runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Valiant to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Valiant will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
