PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guilherme Henrique (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Walkerton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Henrique might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Facção Central- A Guerra Não Vai Acabar. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walkerton stuffs the takedown.

Henrique has managed to clinch.
Walkerton tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Henrique lands a damaging elbow.
Henrique is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Walkerton gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Walkerton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Henrique walks away with a smile on his face. Walkerton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Henrique throws a looping overhand right but Walkerton ducks down to avoid it.

Walkerton looks to clinch
and Henrique counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice body punch from Henrique.

Henrique drives through with a takedown into guard.
Henrique lands a couple of digs.

Walkerton throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Henrique loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
