Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Silcko Wan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragen Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Silcko Wan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ragen Reilly!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reilly tries to clinch up.
Wan shoots in and drives through. Reilly sprawls well.
Reilly lands a right hook to the body.
Reilly with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wan fails with a takedown attempt.
Reilly misses with the combination.
Wan shoots for a double leg takedown but Reilly sprawls well. He's pushed Wan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silcko Wan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wan is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown by Reilly or perhaps it was just good defense by Wan which made him look bad.
Reilly thuds a left hand into Wan's body.

Reilly drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reilly wanted to stand there but Wan had control of the position.
Reilly chips away with some ground and pound.
Wan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Reilly trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Reilly has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wan is proving hard to escape from.
Reilly wants to control from the top but Wan keeps moving.

Wan wants to sweep here but Reilly controlling him for the moment.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Reilly shoots in looking for a takedown. Wan tries to sprawl out of it but Reilly keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A punch combination from Reilly misses.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Reilly throws a low kick, looking for Wan's leg but Wan calmly moves out of range.
Wan shoots for a double leg takedown but Reilly sprawls well. He's pushed Wan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A right-left combo lands from Reilly.
Wan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Reilly.
Reilly digs a good hook to Wan's body.
A combination from Reilly does no damage.
Wan shoots for a takedown but Reilly saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Reilly throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Reilly is looking to score with low kicks.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Reilly, right into the meat.
Wan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wan is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Reilly.

Reilly keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wan checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Wan scores with a decent looking hook.
Reilly scores with a three punch combo!
Reilly throws a leg kick but Wan checks it.
Wan fails to land the takedown.
No joy there for Reilly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Reilly has escaped the position, nice work there.
Reilly tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Wan decides to stand back up.
Wan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Reilly fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Reilly. No joy for Wan on that attempt.
Reilly tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Wan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Reilly can't escape the position.
Reilly is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ragen Reilly dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Wan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Reilly throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Reilly as he avoids it easily.
Reilly fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wan doesn't manage to clinch there - Reilly circles away.
Wan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Reilly swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Reilly looks to land a body kick but Wan moved away.
Wan has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silcko Wan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reilly throws a good cross that connects.

Reilly closes the distance and clinches.
Still in the clinch, Reilly scores with a nice short uppercut.

Reilly breaks the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Reilly misses with a kick to the body.

Wan throws a nice inside leg kick.

Reilly clinches up with Wan and pushes him back against the cage.

Reilly pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No luck for Wan with that takedown attempt.
Wan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reilly moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Silcko Wan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Reilly bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wan's head backwards.
Wan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reilly circles away.

Reilly fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wan, pushing him back against the cage.

Reilly pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reilly swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Reilly fails with a takedown attempt.
Reilly clobbers Wan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Reilly shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wan as he avoids it easily.
Reilly throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wan.
Wan shoots in for a takedown but Reilly shows good takedown defense.
Reilly misses with a combination
and Wan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Wan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Reilly to the mat! Reilly manages to get full guard.
Wan passes Reilly's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Reilly is looking to improve his position.
Wan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Wan seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Reilly has one foot on Wan's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Wan stalks Reilly and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Reilly's face. Reilly staggers backwards, shaken.
Wan shoots in but no luck this time.
Wan fails with the takedown.
Wan tries to clinch but Reilly moves out of range.
Reilly throws a solid leg kick but Wan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Reilly.
Reilly tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wan swivels and escapes.

Reilly gets caught flat footed, as Wan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Reilly looking for a guillotine here but Wan defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Reilly is looking to stand up but Wan isn't so interested in that idea.
Wan trying to control the position from guard on top but Reilly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Reilly is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Reilly breaks the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Ragen Reilly will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Wan lands with a shot to the body.
Reilly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Wan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Reilly pushes Wan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Reilly tries to buck Wan off but Wan is having none of it.
Wan is looking to take a break and control but Reilly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Reilly is trying to get back to his feet.
Wan working the head with strikes.
Wan tries to stand but Reilly is controlling his head.
Reilly stops Wan from passing to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Wan wants to control but Reilly is keeping him busy.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Reilly looks to land a combination. Wan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Wan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wan showed some decent athleticism there.

Wan stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Wan fails with a takedown attempt.
Wan wants to clinch up but Reilly keeps it at a distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wan tries for a takedown but Reilly sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Reilly fails with a takedown attempt.
A left and a right from Wan both land. Nice combination.

Wan instigates a clinch.
Reilly is looking to break free of the clinch but Wan has double underhooks.
Reilly wants to get back to striking at distance but Wan won't allow it.
Wan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Reilly has him pressed against the cage.
Reilly wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Reilly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wan circles away from the clinch attempt
and Wan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Wan shoots and misses
and Reilly counters with a left and a right that stings Wan.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silcko Wan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Reilly cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Wan counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Nice sprawl there from Reilly as Wan shoots in.

Reilly catches Wan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Reilly takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ragen Reilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reilly throws a predictable looking body shot

and Wan counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Reilly is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Silcko Wan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ragen Reilly is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Silcko Wan showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Reilly has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
