Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rubiao Macarenco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macarenco comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Burning Heart kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Doe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rubiao Macarenco!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macarenco ducks right into an uppercut from Doe.
A telegraphed right hand from Macarenco misses the target.
Doe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Macarenco.
Macarenco loads up on a big right hand but Doe slips the punch.
Doe lands a right hook to the body.
Macarenco throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Doe drives through and clinches with Macarenco against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Doe.
Doe keeps control of Macarenco as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Doe lands with a left to the head.
Macarenco is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Macarenco is trying to break free.
A nice right hand lands inside from Doe.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Doe drags the fight down to the ground.
Doe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Macarenco's guard.
Doe controls from within his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jon Doe just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Doe thuds his shin into the meat of Macarenco's side.

Doe throws a nice outside leg kick.

and Doe counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Macarenco!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Doe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Doe not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Macarenco misses the body punch
and Doe makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Macarenco really felt that one!

Doe shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Macarenco's guard.

Doe pulls guard effortlessly.
Doe is pulling down on Macarenco's head. It's preventing any offense from Macarenco, at least for the moment.
Macarenco is looking to stand up but Doe won't let him.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Doe is on top in guard.
Macarenco wants to stand and escape but Doe is having none of it.

Doe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Doe takes a little break here. Macarenco wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Macarenco wants to get back to his feet but Doe drags him back down.
Macarenco is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Macarenco is looking to get back to his feet here but Doe is keeping cool and he's managed to take Macarenco's back.
What can Macarenco do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Doe ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Doe no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Macarenco wants to stand but Doe has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Doe has control of Macarenco's left arm, preventing Macarenco from doing any damage.
Macarenco seems to have recovered his senses.
