Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Rothco (ranked 5445 p4p, 506 weight class) and Frank Ricochet (ranked 5966 p4p, 525 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ricochet takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Ricochet cracks Rothco with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ricochet checks a leg kick.
Ricochet takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ricochet fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rothco on the side of the head.

Ricochet lands a big uppercut and Rothco crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rothco looks OK. Ricochet waves Rothco back to his feet!
Oh Rothco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Ricochet counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Rothco out cold! What a finish! Ricochet is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
