Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamil Westwood (ranked 4665 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakkamunoi Phouthong (ranked 6813 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phouthong looks to score with a jab to the body but Westwood is just out of range.
Phouthong changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Westwood tries to avoid it but Phouthong manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Westwood to the ground. Westwood escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Phouthong is looking for a sweep. Westwood is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been informed that Phouthong has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Westwood is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Phouthong can do to turn this around?
Westwood stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Phouthong swivels though and keeps the full guard.
