Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rampage Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jackson Five - Can You Feel It . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez misses with a two punch combination.
Jackson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A nice combination there by Perez.
Jackson shoots for a double leg takedown but Perez sprawls well. He's pushed Jackson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Some wild striking there from Perez.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Perez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Perez misses with a series of wild punches.
Jackson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Perez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Jackson has closed the distance and engaged Perez in a clinch.
Jackson lands a right hand.

Jackson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Perez is trying to keep an underhook but Jackson manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Perez scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Jackson manages to mount him!
Perez is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Jackson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Perez's face.

Perez is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Jackson lands a nice shot to the head.
Jackson lands a big shot there that rocks Perez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Perez is trying to get back to his feet but Jackson has full control of the position and if anything, Perez has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Jackson is looking to control Perez but Perez is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Perez covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson is looking to finish with some ground and pound!

Jackson slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Perez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Jackson is persistently looking for the submission but Perez is defending it well.
Perez has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Jackson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Perez's body.

Jackson is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rampage Jackson dominated that round.
That's time! Perez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Jab, jab by Perez - just one landing.
Jackson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Perez throws a right and a left that both miss.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Perez is working an open guard so Jackson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Perez thuds his right hand into Jackson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Perez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Perez lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Perez tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice uppercut lands for Perez. That snapped Jackson's head back.
Perez scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Jackson dodges the punch combination from Perez.
Perez jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Perez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Perez tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Jackson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Perez thinking.
Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Perez tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Perez to the ground. Perez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jackson tries to move into range but Perez moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Jackson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Perez is trying to stand up here but Jackson is controlling him well.
Jackson slips a nice elbow through Perez's hands, connecting with Perez's forehead.

Perez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Jackson counters with a shoot takedown. Perez fights it but they end up in guard.

Perez wants to stand up but Jackson is controlling him.

Jackson controls from within his opponent's guard.
Perez wants to stand and escape but Jackson is having none of it.
Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Perez is retaining full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Perez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Perez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Perez won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson stands up.
Jackson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Perez will feel that in the morning.
Perez closes the distance looking to clinch

and Jackson counters by clinching up.

Jackson gets control of Perez's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jackson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Jackson wants to sweep but no luck.

Perez decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jackson, up you get!
Jackson misses with a wild combination.
Perez throws a good cross that connects.
Perez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jackson.
Jackson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Perez circles away.
Leandro Perez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rampage Jackson.
Perez's corner calls for a 1-2. Perez obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Perez keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rampage Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Jackson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Perez's guard.

Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jackson tries to stand but Perez is controlling from the bottom.
Jackson won't allow Perez to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Jackson throws a series of punches but Perez moves out of range.

Perez is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Jackson prevents Perez from breaking the clinch.
Jackson wants a takedown but no success here.
Perez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Perez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Jackson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jackson.
Perez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jackson has him pressed against the cage.
Perez wants to break free but Jackson has control.
Perez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Jackson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Jackson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Perez to stand up.
Perez clobbers Jackson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Jackson moves out of range of the body kick from Perez.
Perez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jackson.

Jackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Perez is not content to let Jackson control the position.
Jackson tries to advance to mount but Perez denies him.
Perez wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
A lull in the action here as Jackson stalls from top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jackson stands up.
Jackson is looking to clinch.
Perez looks to land a combination. Jackson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Perez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Perez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jackson works over Perez's head and body with a nice combination.
Jackson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Perez misses with a double jab

so Jackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Perez wants to stand and escape but Jackson is having none of it.
Leandro Perez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rampage Jackson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Jackson thows a big elbow that misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Rampage Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jackson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
