Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Taylor (ranked 5016 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradley Fitzpatrick (ranked 4992 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dylan Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bradley Fitzpatrick!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fitzpatrick looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Taylor!
Fitzpatrick is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Fitzpatrick has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Taylor!
Taylor tries to lock up and control but Fitzpatrick gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Fitzpatrick thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Fitzpatrick lands a couple of good shots and Taylor has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Taylor is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Fitzpatrick off. It looks like it's working - Fitzpatrick slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Taylor displaying calm under pressure there.

Taylor manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fitzpatrick on his heels. He'll look to pass Fitzpatrick's guard now, I'm sure.

Fitzpatrick manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Fitzpatrick is looking to take this one to the mat.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fitzpatrick jumps guard but Taylor turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fitzpatrick holds on and takes a little breather.

Dylan Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bradley Fitzpatrick.

Taylor closes the distance and clinches up with Fitzpatrick, looking for a takedown. Taylor pushes Fitzpatrick against the cage but Fitzpatrick circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fitzpatrick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fitzpatrick wants it to stay on the feet.

Taylor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fitzpatrick defends well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Taylor gets caught flat footed, as Fitzpatrick shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Taylor wants to control the position but Fitzpatrick says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Well Fitzpatrick has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
