The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turturro wants to clinch.
It looked like De Bois was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Turturro.
The fight stays on the outside here - Turturro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Turturro closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
De Bois pushes Turturro back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
De Bois misses with a hook from the clinch.
Turturro tries to pull guard but De Bois holds him up against the cage and eventually Turturro drops back down to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

De Bois throws out a loose jab but Turturro uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

De Bois takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
De Bois lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Turturro quite badly. Turturro pulls De Bois in close trying to recover. De Bois postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Turturro on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Turturro doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

A relieved looking Jambe De Bois thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
