The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPherson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bailey Blue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blue lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Blue throws a shot to the body.
McPherson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Blue.
McPherson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Blue blocking the ground and pound attempt from McPherson.
McPherson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Blue is looking for a sweep. McPherson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are battling for position here. Blue manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
McPherson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
McPherson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Blue is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
McPherson looking for submissions off his back.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Blue connects with a nice short shot to McPherson's temple.
McPherson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Blue pulls his head out easily.
Blue trying to control the action but McPherson is working from the bottom.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
McPherson is pressing down on Blue's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

McPherson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blue doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blue manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Blue throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McPherson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
McPherson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Blue doesn't defend quickly enough and McPherson has managed to lock this one up! Can Blue escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to McPherson on a fantastic submission victory.
