The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olson dives in for a single leg takedown but Mike sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mike has eaten all the pies!
Olson on the wrong end of a nice jab.

It looks like Darnell Olson has been cut.
Olson takes a swing at Mike's ribcage but misses.
Olson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mike sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Olson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mike swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Olson gets caught flat footed, as Mike shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mike stands and throws Olson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mike decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Mike drops back looking for a leg! Olson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Olson manages to kick Mike off! Mike jumps back into Olson's guard.

Mike is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Olson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mike is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Olson.
Mike wants to stand but Olson has his arm trapped.
Mike advances nicely into full mount.
