Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mathis Malen (ranked 3489 p4p, 362 weight class) and Tony Duff (ranked 4366 p4p, 425 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mathis Malen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tony Duff!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duff checks a leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Duff checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Duff connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Duff throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Malen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Duff is in Malen's guard.
Malen wants to stand and escape but Duff is having none of it.
Duff scoring with punches to the head and body.
Duff with a flurry of punches that miss.
Duff throwing strikes but missing.
Malen is pulling down on Duff's head to control his posture.
Malen is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Malen gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Malen decides to stand up.
Duff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Malen closes the distance and clinches.
Duff throws a knee to the head but misses.
Malen has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Duff after a bit of a struggle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Duff lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Malen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Malen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Malen pushes Duff off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Duff gets a double leg takedown into Malen's guard.
Duff postures up in Malen's guard and throws a big left but Malen blocks it.
Malen is controlling Duff's posture.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Duff lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Malen working a defensive guard here.
Malen is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Duff working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Duff prevents Malen from getting back to his feet.
Duff scoring with punches to the head and body.
Duff working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Duff stands and throws Malen's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Duff working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Malen is rocked!
Duff cracks Malen with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Duff immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Malen is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Duff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Duff!
