Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darko Pulovic (ranked 7020 p4p, 505 weight class) and Land Shark (ranked 5610 p4p, 468 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darko Pulovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Land Shark!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulovic lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Shark shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pulovic but Pulovic pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pulovic throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Shark is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Pulovic closes the distance and clinches up with Shark, looking for a takedown. Pulovic pushes Shark against the cage but Shark circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pulovic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pulovic wants it to stay on the feet.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Pulovic has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Shark is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pulovic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pulovic accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Shark drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pulovic manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Shark has Pulovic in his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Darko Pulovic will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Land Shark showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Land Shark comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
