PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Coyote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Perkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coyote's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Go Into The Water. Mr Perkele told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coyote misses with a double jab.
Perkele avoids a punch combination nicely.
A punch combination from Coyote misses.

Coyote instigates a clinch.
Coyote with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Coyote breaks from the clinch.

Perkele shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perkele lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Coyote hang on?

It looks like Mike Coyote has been cut.
Coyote swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Coyote is wriggling around trying to escape.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Coyote is bucking up trying to escape but Perkele cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Mike Coyote's cut is getting worse.
Coyote is trying desperately to improve position.
BOOM! Perkele connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Mike Coyote's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mike Coyote's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
