Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Sexton (ranked 5362 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Scott (ranked 4975 p4p, 0 weight class). Nathan Scott is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nathan Scott!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sexton darts in and clinches Scott up against the cage.
Scott blocks a body shot from Sexton.
Scott goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sexton prevents it.

Sexton is trying to pull guard but Scott turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Scott has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sexton uses from the top position.
Scott wants to sweep here but Sexton controlling him for the moment.
Scott avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sexton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sexton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sexton wants it to stay on the feet.

Sexton sneaks out the side door and pushes Scott away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Sexton seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Scott for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Scott shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sexton's guard.
