Dennis tries to close the distance and clinch but Spartacus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Spartacus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dennis, pushing him back against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Spartacus drops back looking for a leg! Dennis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dennis manages to kick Spartacus off! Spartacus jumps back into Dennis's guard.
Spartacus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Spartacus lands a head kick. Dennis smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Danial Dennis has been cut.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Dennis gets caught flat footed, as Spartacus shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Dennis is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Spartacus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Spartacus decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dennis to his feet.

Spartacus darts in and clinches Dennis up against the cage.
Dennis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Spartacus walks away with a smile on his face. Dennis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Spartacus takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Spartacus throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dennis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Well Spartacus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
