Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Codename Colt!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colt avoids the head kick by Riddle.
Colt now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Riddle.
A countering left hand to the body from Colt misses.
Riddle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Colt circles away.
Colt now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Riddle dives in for a single leg takedown but Colt sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Colt counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Blaine Riddle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Colt moves out of range of the body kick.

Riddle tries to sprawl but Colt drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Riddle holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Colt throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Riddle tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Colt is in Riddle's guard.

Colt gets to his feet. Riddle looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Colt shoots in looking for a takedown but Riddle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Colt's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Riddle gets caught napping as Colt dives in and scores a takedown. Riddle manages to retain guard.

Riddle has his feet on Colt's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Riddle tries to sprawl but Colt drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Colt content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Colt wants to get back to his feet.

Riddle trying to hold on to Colt's head to control him but Colt postures up.
Colt is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Riddle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Colt is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Riddle is looking for a sweep. Colt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Riddle wants to get back to full guard but Colt has passed into side control.

Colt has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Colt counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Riddle!

Riddle bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Colt in particular looking to stall.
Codename Colt has got the better of the ground game so far.

Colt stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Riddle tries to land a front kick but Colt steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Colt counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Riddle tries to kick Colt off in order to stand up. Colt Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Colt decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Riddle forces Colt back against the cage and clinches.

Riddle jumps guard but Colt turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

A frustrated look appears on Riddle's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Colt digs a right hand into Riddle's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Riddle's gas tank.
Colt misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Riddle jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Colt walks away with a smile on his face. Riddle gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Colt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Riddle as he avoids it easily.
Riddle is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Riddle dives in and grabs Colt's left leg, looking for a takedown. Colt pushes down on Riddle's head and hops out.
Colt let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Riddle throws a half hearted mid kick.

Colt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Riddle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Colt stands up and beckons Riddle to his feet.

and Colt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Riddle's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Riddle is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Colt dives into side control.

Colt decides to stand back up. Colt steps back and let's Riddle get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Codename Colt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Riddle misses with a kick to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Riddle clinches up with Colt and pushes him back against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Riddle - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Riddle tries to pull guard but Colt won't allow it.

and Colt counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Colt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Riddle shoots for a double leg takedown but Colt sprawls well. He's pushed Riddle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Colt is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Riddle with a body shot.

Codename Colt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Colt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
