Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crotch Grabber (ranked 79 p4p, 9 weight class) and Lyle Alzado (ranked 402 p4p, 55 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alzado tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grabber swivels and escapes.
Alzado shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Grabber sprawls well. Grabber wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Alzado gets slowly back to his feet.
Grabber tries to bum rush Alzado with a series of wild strikes but Alzado uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Alzado darts in looking for a takedown but Grabber gets double underhooks and turns Alzado into the cage.
Crotch Grabber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lyle Alzado.

Alzado displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Grabber throws out the jab.

Grabber slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Alzado tries to clinch up but Grabber circles away and keeps his distance.
Alzado lands with an uppercut that bounces Grabber off the cage and back into range.

Grabber feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Alzado sprawling to the canvas! Alzado rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Grabber finish him?!
Grabber changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Grabber cracks Alzado with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Grabber has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Alzado to stand back up!

Grabber throws a body punch but Alzado moves out of range.
Alzado is still on wobbly legs! Can Grabber finish him?
Grabber misses with a straight left.
Grabber lands an uppercut, right on the button! Alzado tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
