The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chow gets a clinch.

Klein manages to break the clinch.

Klein tries to lock up and control but Chow gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Klein is looking to improve his position but Chow isn't that keen on the idea.

Klein has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Chow is on him like a limpet, forcing Klein back against the cage.

Chow wants to sweep here but Klein controlling him for the moment.

Klein got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chow has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Klein has managed to get both his arms back between Chow's legs - danger averted.
Klein lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Klein controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Klein is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Chow isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Klein stacks Chow on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Klein!

Chow takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Zachery Klein overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Klein wants to sweep here but Chow controlling him for the moment.

Klein uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Klein pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chow uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Klein.
Chow throws a fast counter high kick but Klein manages to duck under it in time.
Chow ducks under a wild hook from Klein.

Klein pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Chow tries to work over Klein's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Klein looking to throw knees to the head but Chow is blocking nicely.

Chow has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Klein regains guard immediately.

Klein wriggles free and stands up.

Chow shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Klein napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Klein dodges the ground and pound from Chow.
Klein is looking to reverse the position.

Chow is trying to get an arm triangle but Klein is defending well.
Klein is trying to control Chow's posture but Chow avoids it.

Chow in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Klein tries to buck Chow off but Chow is having none of it.
Chow is looking to take a break and control but Klein is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Klein tries to bench press Chow off him but Chow keeps the position.
