The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas is looking to clinch.
Thomas tries to clinch
and Van Glost counters with a good, hard body kick but Thomas shrugs it off.
Van Glost with a jab.
Thomas throws a wild body kick that Van Glost sees coming a mile off.
Thomas wants to clinch.
Van Glost scores with a spinning back kick!
Thomas clinches with his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thomas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thomas gets a clinch.
Thomas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Van Glost swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Van Glost appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomas fails to land with a series of punches.
Thomas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Will Thomas has been cut.
Van Glost throws an overhand right that has Thomas reeling! Van Glost follows up with more punches and Thomas is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Hermann Van Glost!
Hermann Van Glost bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
