Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Bullock (ranked 5242 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Bush (ranked 4961 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Bush has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ronald Bullock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Bush!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bullock gets caught flat footed, as Bush shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bullock working for a triangle but Bush defends it easily.
Bullock is pulling down on Bush's head to control his posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bullock doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bullock is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bush defends well.

Bush is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Bush wants to pass the guard but Bullock is keeping the position.

Bush tries to free his leg and advance position but Bullock is retaining full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bush trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bullock is trying to control the position but Bush postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bush throws a wild body kick that Bullock sees coming a mile off.

Bush gets a takedown into half guard.
Bullock is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bush seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Bullock is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bush controlling the action here.

Bush is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bullock has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bush seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bullock does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bush advances nicely into full mount.
Bullock is squirming around, avoiding Bush's attempts to control the action.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bullock is looking to get to half guard.
Bullock sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Bush dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Bush looks for the body kick but Bullock saw that one coming.
Bullock tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bush manages to circle out of the way.
Bullock wants to clinch.
Bush connects with a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bush clinches up with Bullock and pushes him back against the cage.

Bush ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bush no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Bullock stands and steps away. Bush gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Bush has managed to clinch.
Bullock's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Bullock really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bush pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bush throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bush scores with a spinning back kick!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bullock closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bush's guard.

Bush scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bush throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bush throws a combination. Bullock tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Bush shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Bush is breathing heavily.
Bush throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bush perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bush is stalling here. Bullock is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bush seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bullock has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Bullock tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bush's legs.
Bullock content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Bush struggling a bit here.

Bullock decides to stand back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bullock is defended easily by Bush.
Bush feints the counter takedown.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bush darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bush wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bullock keeps working.
Bullock is trying is best to control the position here.
Bullock is staying active underneath Bush, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Bush showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!



Bush closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bush's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bush shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bullock napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Bush is looking to take a break and control but Bullock is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bush is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Bullock stops Bush from passing to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bush misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Bullock is trying to control Bush's posture but Bush avoids it.
Bullock seems a little lost for a moment, as Bush dominates the positioning.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bush. That's going to slow Bullock down.
Bullock takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Bullock has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bullock there as he acknowledges the shot.

Bush rushes Bullock and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bush manages to break the clinch.
Bush goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Bush takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bush shoots in and gets a takedown into Bullock's guard.

Bullock is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bush defends well.
Bush advances position into side control!
Bush really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bullock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bullock is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
It looks like Bush is going to stand back up.
Bush blocks the strikes from Bullock.
Bush thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bush wants to get back to his feet.
Bullock tries to get to full guard but Bush has control of the leg.
Bush is keen to just control but Bullock is a slippery customer.
Ronald Bullock has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jack Bush is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jack Bush comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bush has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
