Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Khon Saroth!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown. Saroth tries to sprawl out of it but Anderson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saroth manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Saroth unleashes a big counter combination but Anderson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Anderson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Saroth wants to clinch.
Anderson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Saroth defends well and Anderson ends up having to push Saroth into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Anderson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anderson wants it to stay on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We've been told by Anderson's head coaches at Cozad MMA New York that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Tony Anderson will probably get the nod.
