The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Queernan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Beck, pushing him back against the cage.

Beck is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Queernan pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Beck's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Queernan pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Queernan is trying to force a seperation but Beck has the dominant position.

Beck manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
