The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Taranin, as that shot connected.

Myers gets caught napping as Taranin dives in and scores a takedown. Myers manages to retain guard.
Myers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Taranin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Taranin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Myers for as long as he can get away with.
Taranin stands up over Myers, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Myers has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at JAG Battle Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Myers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Taranin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
