The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkhouser slips a jab and a cross from Martin.
Funkhouser feinted with a counter takedown.
Martin has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Funkhouser is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Martin rushes Funkhouser and presses him up against the cage.
Martin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Martin takes a shot to the head.

Martin gets control of Funkhouser's arms and successfully pulls guard. Martin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Funkhouser thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Funkhouser is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Funkhouser is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Funkhouser passes easily into side control. Nice work.
You can see the frustration on Martin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Martin tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Funkhouser easily slips into full mount!
Funkhouser moves to the back.

Funkhouser has got one arm under Martin's chin. This could be trouble... Martin trying to control the other hand but Funkhouser gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Martin has tapped out! The fight is over!

A less than humble Trenton Funkhouser misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
