Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Magass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marylin Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Magass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marylin Monroe!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Magass.

Monroe looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Magass!
Magass tries to lock up and control but Monroe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Magass is in all sorts of trouble here.
Magass is working hard here to advance position.
Magass sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Magass looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Magass has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Monroe is working away from the top position though.
Magass is trying to get back to full guard.
Magass wants to control but Monroe is keeping busy.
Monroe winds up and cracks Magass with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Magass is trying to control but can't.
Monroe throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Magass makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Magass.
Monroe cracks Magass with a solid left hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magass is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Monroe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Magass throws a head kick that misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Magass.
Magass tries to close the distance and clinch up but Monroe swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Magass throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Monroe shoots for a double leg takedown but Magass sprawls well. He's pushed Monroe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Peter Magass has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marylin Monroe.
Magass throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Peter Magass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magass buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Magass pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Monroe shoots in looking for a takedown. Magass tries to sprawl out of it but Monroe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Magass manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Magass.

It looks like Marylin Monroe has been cut.
Magass passes Monroe's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Magass is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Monroe is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
