And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver shoots and misses
and Oliver takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kruglov lands with a right hand.
Kruglov delivers a nice body kick.
Oliver definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A punch lands to the side of Oliver 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Oliver misses with a takedown
and Kruglov counters with a three punch combo that has Oliver backing up. Oliver nods at Kruglov to acknowledge the strikes.
Kruglov throws a head kick that misses.

Kruglov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Oliver, pushing him back against the cage.

Oliver is trying to stall.
Kruglov lands with a left to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Oliver drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kruglov pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Oliver. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kruglov lands with an overhand left.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kruglov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kruglov cracks a nice hook into Oliver's ribs.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kruglov, right into the meat.
Oliver shoots and misses
and Kruglov counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Oliver is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Anton Kruglov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kruglov lands a nice looking body shot.
Oliver shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kruglov as he avoids it easily.
Kruglov is trying to counter with his kicks.
Kruglov lands a nice leg kick that just misses Oliver's sensitive parts.
Kruglov connects with a jab.

Kruglov lands a left and a right that send Oliver crashing to the mat, dazed. Kruglov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oliver is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kruglov walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Oliver drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Kruglov swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Oliver's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

A relieved looking Anton Kruglov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
