The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
And Win A scores with a takedown into Matthews's guard.
And Win A scoring with some ground and pound.
Rhett Matthews's cut is getting worse.
And Win A tries to stand but Matthews is controlling from the bottom.
And Win A in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
And Win A wants to stand and escape but instead Matthews has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Matthews trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Matthews thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Matthews postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! And Win A is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Matthews, into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
And Win A throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Matthews works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Matthews is trying to control the position but And Win A postures up.
And Win A throws a big right hand that misses.
