And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 33 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brophy instigates a clinch.

Labosky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Brophy has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Doherty's Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Labosky tries to counter with a clinch but Brophy shakes him off and moves away.

Labosky unleashes a big counter combination but Brophy bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Labosky follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Brophy forces Labosky back against the ropes and clinches.

Labosky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Labosky is rocked!
Brophy pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Labosky back to the ropes. Brophy follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Labosky is still on wobbly legs! Can Brophy finish him?
Labosky throws the kick towards the body but Brophy avoids it.
Brophy fires out a quick counter leg kick but Labosky just manages to avoid it.
Labosky drops his guard momentarily, allowing Brophy to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Labosky! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Brophy takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Ryan Brophy!
Our winner, Ryan Brophy, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
