The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castaneda has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kaoru looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Castaneda looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Castaneda could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Castaneda tries to break free but Kaoru pushes him back against the cage.

Castaneda fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kaoru has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Castaneda's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
