Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between She Mine (ranked 7131 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Sue (ranked 7135 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, She Mine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Sue!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Sue throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Sue clinches up with Mine and pushes him back against the cage.
Mine goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Mine prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mine tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sue breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sue tries to avoid it but Mine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sue to the ground. Sue escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As Mine backs off Sue throws a huge counter combo but Mine manages to avoid it all.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sue gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Mine misses with a shot to the kidneys.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Mine.
Sue wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mine has him pressed against the cage.

Mine shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sue but Sue pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Sue has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

and Sue makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Mine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sue tries to avoid it but Mine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sue to the ground. Sue escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A nice side step and Sue releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

and Sue counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Sue closes the distance and clinches.

Sue goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Mine doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sue tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Tom Sue showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Sue has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
