Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Bronson (ranked 3842 p4p, 145 weight class) and Brian Reaves (ranked 3510 p4p, 134 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keith Bronson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Reaves!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reaves lands a head kick!
Bronson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Keith Bronson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reaves cracks Bronson with an open hand slap.

Reaves bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bronson's head.
Bronson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Reaves's head backwards.


It looks like Brian Reaves has been cut.

Reaves closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bronson wants to break free but Reaves has control.

Reaves drags the fight down to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bronson throws a strike but Reaves rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bronson is on top in guard.

Reaves wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Bronson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Reaves is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reaves is on top in guard.

Bronson wants to stand but Reaves is controlling the position.

Reaves frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Let's hope that Reaves has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A head kick misses from Reaves.
Keith Bronson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Reaves moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Reaves fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bronson, pushing him back against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reaves not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bronson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bronson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Reaves controls the pace.

Bronson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Reaves off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Bronson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Oooooh!!! Bronson has knocked Reaves down with a huge combo! Bronson steps away and waves a wobbly Reaves back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Reaves tries to bum rush Bronson with a series of wild strikes but Bronson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Reaves has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reaves has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Bronson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bronson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bronson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Reaves.
Bronson throws a series of punches but Reaves avoids them all with ease.
Reaves has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Reaves there as he acknowledges the shot.

Reaves feints and then cracks Bronson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bronson down.

Brian Reaves comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Reaves has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
