Hooper has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kizota fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hooper sprawls well initially but Kizota persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hooper is breathing heavily.
Kizota looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Hooper is rocked!
Kizota lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Oh Hooper is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kizota lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Hooper quite badly. Hooper pulls Kizota in close trying to recover. Kizota postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Hooper on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Hooper doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
