The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaad gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
Jones lands a nice looking body shot.
Jones throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Zaad on the side of the head.
Zaad throws a leg kick
and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Zaad fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jones is out of range.
Jones is looking to counter punch.
Jones has been working on his boxing with his coaches at EMPIRE K1 Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Zaad gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nice body punch from Jones.
Jones avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zaad has time to react.
Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
BOOM! Jones lands a beautiful left hook that drops Zaad. Zaad tries to recover but Jones is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Zaad lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
