The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kraag throws a lazy uppercut
and Kraag takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cruz Jr on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Kraag loads up on a big right hand but Cruz Jr slips the punch.
Desi Kraag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kraag. Cruz Jr does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cruz Jr is looking to counter with a body kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Cruz Jr finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Kraag throws a sloppy body shot
and Cruz Jr counters with a nice uppercut.
Kraag swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cruz Jr scores with a counter punch that sends Kraag to the canvas! Cruz Jr smells blood - he's punishing Kraag with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kraag has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
